Yeah I know, this blog is for saving metro, but this is too good not to write about. The beloved Former-Mayor Marion Barry. The "Mayor for Life" in DC, the guy is a one man comedy troop. Ya love him, you hate him, you love to hate him. Whatever he is, he sure makes good headlines. Here is today's City Paper.

Yeah I know, why blog if no one reads. But I am destined to change that. The Metro has been in the news a lot lately . . . train crash, operators falling asleep, people dying. We have to make a stand. Save Metro is our motto. We can't let it slip into some bureaucratic quagmire. We need to keep it alive and keep it safe.

Save our Metro! We want Washingtonians to voice their stories. Not just rants and raves, but more of a personal measure. How did Metro effect your life, good and bad, we want to hear it!

We all know Metro Sucks, but we need it and rely on it. And we need to fix it. Join us, so together we can make Metro something to be proud of, something to enjoy before we spend the good part of the day in the windowless cube.
